Privacy Policy.
This policy explains what roushtech.net collects, why, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as the site needs to work, and we do not sell your data.
Last updated: June 24, 2026
This website is operated by RoushTech, LLC ("RoushTech", "we", "us", or "our"), a custom software development and consulting firm based in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. This policy covers the website at roushtech.net. It does not cover any separate product or application we operate under its own brand, each of which carries its own policy.
The short version
- If you use our contact form, we collect what you submit so we can reply.
- We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used.
- The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes limited technical data to serve and protect it.
- We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent your data.
Information we collect
Contact form. When you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, company, and message you submit, along with the IP address the request came from. We use this to respond to your inquiry and to keep a record of the conversation.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site (for example pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring source). Google Analytics sets cookies and processes a truncated or full IP address to do this. We use it in aggregate to improve the site, not to identify you personally.
Anti-spam. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated submissions. Cloudflare may process limited technical data (including your IP address) to tell humans from bots.
Server and hosting data. The site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes connection data such as IP address, request timestamps, and user agent to deliver content and protect the site from abuse.
How we use your information
- To respond to contact-form inquiries and follow up about potential work.
- To understand site usage in aggregate and improve the site.
- To protect the site from spam, abuse, and security threats.
- To comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run this site, and only as needed:
- Cloudflare for hosting, content delivery, and spam protection (Turnstile).
- Google Analytics for aggregate site usage measurement.
- Resend to deliver contact-form submissions to us by email.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses only the cookies it needs to function plus Google Analytics. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites with Google's browser opt-out add-on. We also honor browser "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals where technically supported.
Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and maintain our business records, then delete or archive them on a regular schedule. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, use our contact form and we will respond as required by law.
California (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
EEA and UK. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests (responding to inquiries, security, and improving the site), consent (where required, such as analytics cookies), and legal obligation. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Security
We protect data in transit with encryption (HTTPS/TLS) and limit access to the systems that hold contact submissions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
International transfers
We operate from the United States, and your information may be processed there or wherever our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, provide a more prominent notice.
