Zech has spent 17+ years designing, building, and scaling line-of-business and high-performance systems across .NET and Node stacks. He has worked with William since 2009, long before RoushTech existed, and has been with the firm since 2020.

Some of what he's shipped:

• Led design and scale work on an end-to-end A/B testing platform serving high-traffic e-commerce storefronts, owning the performance-critical embedded script running on every installed store.
• Productionized PhD-authored Bayesian statistical models, hardening them for production data and iterating directly with the research team.
• Drove cloud infrastructure strategy that processes and analyzes billions of events on a small, cost-effective footprint.
• Designed and built a PCI-DSS compliant cardholder data environment with streaming tokenization and direct bank integrations for bulk payment processing.
• Championed PostgreSQL adoption, leading query design and server-level tuning.
• Mentors teams on testing, security practices, and coding standards; a trusted technical lead with stakeholders from bank partners to research scientists.
